Warranty

At Elkhorn, unsurpassed customer service and 100% customer satisfaction are our primary company goals. All Elkhorn rods and reels have a lifetime warranty against manufacturing or workmanship defects. And accidents are covered as well. Our no-nonsense guarantee is simple; if the rod gets broken, we replace the broken section(s) for $30 each ($50 for most butt sections) plus return shipping and insurance (usually $11, can be more for two piece rods, spey rods, bamboo rods, or multiple rods). Spey rod sections are $50 each plus return shipping. Spey rod butt sections are $100. Bamboo rods are handled on a case by case basis but repairs and/or replacement will not exceed $100 per section. If the reel has a problem, repairs/rebuilds are handled on a case by case basis, but will not exceed $50 for a complete reel reconstruction or rebuild. There is no charge for worn out reel parts. Lost reel parts are sold for a minimal fee or are free. No glitz, no glamour, no slick advertising, no hefty price tag, no nonsense. So fish hard, you're covered!
Warranty instructions
Should you need to send in a rod for warranty service, we need to see either the entire broken section(s) or the rest of the rod (if the broken section is incomplete). When you are sending the rod, please ship it in the original Elkhorn tube inside a cardboard shipping container. Use plenty of tape and packing material as tubes tend to have the ends pop off during handling and contents may become lost. USPS offers free tri-fold cardboard shipping boxes if you are shipping USPS Priority Mail. When you send in the rod, please include the rod model number (if returning only a broken section), your return address, and a phone number. We guarantee less than a one week turnaround time, but 90% of our warranty work is done within one day. Personal checks are accepted; just include it with the rod. Send the rod to:
