TL Johnson has flagged a batch of his blanks as blemished due to slight scratches in the paint. Small imperfections make them not production quality. Most people would never notice this, but being the perfectionist that Terry is, he will not build these as his Legacy rods. When these are gone, he has no intention of repeating this sale. All blanks are U.S. made by T.L. Johnson Companies.

Although the blank is structurally fine to build and fish, because of the blemishes there is no warranty on these blanks.  They are sold AS-IS.  If you break it, sections may be replaced on a case by case basis. Call for cost details.  But at these prices, you might as well buy another blank and then you'll have some spare sections.

The Emerger Series fly rod blanks incorporate T.L. Johnson’s unique graphite resin system along with helical reinforcement. This allows them to design blanks that are very light, yet extremely durable. The ES is a Medium-Fast action and is a true workhorse rod that won’t break the bank!. Emerger series blanks feature a beautiful Gloss Green and are proudly made in the U.S.A.
The 7'9" blanks are the Blue Gill line of the Emerger Series. Unless specified, they are Gloss Green. There are also some available in Sea Foam Blue (a Dun Blue w/metal flake).
