I am a proud volunteer for Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing.  The Denver chapter is currently teaching disabled Veterans to tie flies and cast a fly rod.  We now offer rod building classes for veterans.  The flies they tie will be lost or tattered with use, but a fly rod can be be a life long companion in their fly fishing efforts.

The 3 piece Midgar™ two-hand series is developed for those wishing a Scandinavian method of casting. Each rod is built on a Talon olive/green blank with matching thread wraps. We use H&H stripper guides and traditional chrome snake guides with the highest quality Portuguese cork.
The Midgar™ Spey speyrods are designed to master all the different phases in the Scandinavian speycast, in addition to let you have full control of the fly when fishing and casting it. The rod has a strong tip with lots of backbone. In practical terms the rod will load further and further down towards the butt the more you push it, but it will never be too strong. The great feeling of playing the fish is still the most important thing!
