I am a proud volunteer for Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing.  The Denver chapter is currently teaching disabled Veterans to tie flies and cast a fly rod.  We now offer rod building classes for veterans.  The flies they tie will be lost or tattered with use, but a fly rod can be be a life long companion in their fly fishing efforts.

Fish Creek Brightwater series rod blank Kits. Fish Creek is a TL Johnson company. The blanks are an IM6 graphite with a medium fast action and the color is Green. The kits include rod blank, grip, wood insert reel seat (aluminum on 7wt and up), hook keeper, stripping guide, snake guides, tip-top and rod case. Put the Fish Creek label (included) on or sign it yourself. All you'll need to finish your own custom rod is thread and epoxy. The components are the same as the T.L. Johnson Fish Creek finished rods that retail for $149-$169. These blanks are not warrantied.
