Fish Creek Brightwater series rod blank Kits. Fish Creek is a TL Johnson company. The blanks are an IM6 graphite with a medium fast action, they come in 2, 4 or 5 piece (model specifies) and the color is blue. The kits include rod blank, grip, wood insert reel seat (aluminum on 7wt and up), hook keeper, stripping guide, snake guides and tip-top. A cordura Pocketed rod case is available for an extra $20. Put the Fish Creek label (included) on or sign it yourself. All you'll need to finish your own custom rod is thread and epoxy. The components are the same as the T.L. Johnson Fish Creek finished rods that retail for $169-$189. Photo shows components but blank color not representative and 7 or 8 weight rods come with a quality all aluminum reel seat. These blanks are not warrantied.

I am a proud volunteer for Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing. The Denver chapter is currently teaching disabled Veterans to tie flies and cast a fly rod. We now offer rod building classes for veterans. The flies they tie will be lost or tattered with use, but a fly rod can be be a life long companion in their fly fishing efforts.
