Elkhorn's Ladies Series Four and Five Piece Fly Rods are a result of numerous requests from serious women fly-fishers for a line-up of equipment specifically tailored for the lady fly-fisher.
Traveler series 4 piece fly rods are available in gorgeous Hot Pink, Purple and Raspberry and in 8'0" 4wt and 9'0" 5wt or 6wt, plus an 8wt in Raspberry only. Each rod includes a matching color rod case. These fly rods have a progressive medium-fast action to handle a variety of fishing conditions. It breaks down to less than 30 inches for easy traveling.
The 5X Series five piece ladies fly rod, available only in 8'6" 3wt and Hot Pink, Purple or Raspberry. The 5X offers the convenience of compact take-down dimensions (under 25") without sacrificing the backbone found in other fly rods. The smooth progressive medium-fast action is seamless throughout each section. Performs as smoothly as a two-piece fly rod.

I am a proud volunteer for Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing.  The Denver chapter is currently teaching disabled Veterans to tie flies and cast a fly rod.  We now offer rod building classes for veterans.  The flies they tie will be lost or tattered with use, but a fly rod can be be a life long companion in their fly fishing efforts.
